We raised nearly $5,000 to buy school supplies for Karen people in Karen state in Myanmar (Burma). Having 52 registered golfers allowed us for a day full of fun, and fundraising. The first new boarding house is complete and ready for the students to move in! This beautiful new building will be home for 60 students during the school year in Karen State. The all-volunteer crew now begins construction on the next structure. This rural school has expanded to accommodate displaced students from other regions of Karen State. Their superior education program continues to produce many future leaders for Karen people - teachers, civic leaders and much more! These new boarding houses are made possible by the incredible generosity of these four leaders and their organizations. Huge thank you to Scott Farrell and i2 Construction, LLP, LLP, Brady Farrell of 1901 INC., Jim Simpson and East Daley Capital: The Midstream Expert, and Steve van Engen of MedSafety Solutions.
