Murphy's Knee Surgery
Our extra large, sweet, shy 10 year old German Shepherd boy Murphy has torn his knee CCL and needs surgical repair. We are saving up for this surgery that will give him relief and hopefully many more years of happy galloping.

Thanks to your help we were able to get our big boy seen by specialists surprisingly quickly, including a neurologist and determined that, while his knee is a problem, its not the only issue. Surgery might not give him as much back as it would take from him, so we are opting to let him keep being the happy, slightly lopsided galumphing big sweet boy he is, with medicine management if he starts hurting. He can still get around, up and down the stairs and up on the new couch. He did so great at the vet, since I couldn't go in with him we were a bit worried! The tech said he was Very Good the whole time :) Thank you so much for your contributions to his care! We love you!

Murphy has a specialist appointment scheduled Nov 5th, and we are on the cancellation list to get him in sooner.
